About Headhunterz
Headhunterz is a Dutch DJ, producer, and legendary pioneer of hardstyle electronic music. Hailing from Veenendaal, Netherlands, he started his musical journey at a young age in a children’s choir before falling in love with hardstyle after attending Qlimax in 2003. He quickly rose to fame in the late 2000s, becoming one of the defining architects and global ambassadors of the harder styles of dance music.
Renowned for his iconic melodies, distorted reverse bass, and emotive synth design, Headhunterz shaped the genre with classic anthems like “Rock Civilization”, “Dragonborn”, and his legendary duo project Project One alongside Wildstylez. After a brief period of exploring big-room house and electro, he made a triumphant return to hardstyle in 2017 and co-founded the influential record label Art of Creation. A true crowd favorite, he has headlined the world’s premier electronic stages, including Defqon.1, Qlimax, Tomorrowland, EDC Las Vegas, and Electric Zoo.
