About Afrojack
Afrojack is a Dutch DJ,
Afrojack is a Dutch DJ, record producer, and global electronic music titan who emerged as one of the key figures defining the Dutch house and big-room sound during the EDM boom of the 2010s. Hailing from Spijkenisse, Netherlands, he began playing piano at age five and started DJing in local venues as a teenager before founding his influential imprint, Wall Recordings, in 2007.
He achieved massive global stardom with his multi-platinum breakout hit “Take Over Control” featuring Eva Simons, and cemented his mainstream crossover status by co-producing and featuring on Pitbull’s #1 global smash “Give Me Everything” (alongside Ne-Yo) and contributing to Beyoncé’s “Run the World (Girls)”. Known for his towering presence, high-pitched lead synths, and relentless mainstage drops, Afrojack is a perennial Top 10 resident in DJ Mag‘s Top 100 DJs poll. He routinely headlines the world’s grandest festival stages, including Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, EDC Las Vegas, and Creamfields.
