Did you come across a situation where you were at a party or did you hear a song on the radio and the song stuck in your head for a very long time and all you could remember is just its tune but you could not really look for it because all you could do was just hum it? For this, Google has prepared a new feature that will help you find the song that is stuck in your head!
Google has announced a new feature called “hum to search” where you can hum, sing or whistle the song that is stuck in your head.To activate this feature all you have to do is use the Google search app and then tap on the microphone icon and ask “What is this song?” Or click the “Search a song” button, from there you will have 15 seconds to hum or whistle the tune and then you will get results that match the song.

“We compare these sequences to thousands of songs from around the world and identify potential matches in real time. For example, if you listen to Tones and I’s” Dance Monkey, “you’ll recognize the song whether it was sung, whistled, or hummed. Similarly, our machine learning models recognize the melody of the studio-recorded version of the song, which we can use to match it with a person’s hummed audio. “
