The Corona virus continues to cast terror and darkness on the happiest scene in the world. While festival greats such as Ultra Miami, Tomorrowland Winter and Coachella canceled the 2020 edition they were looking at – Burning-Man is also expected to join the blacklist.
The legendary festival, after all, is the Burning Man, which annually hosts tens of thousands of people arriving in the city of the famous lumberjack, expected to join the line of cancellations and rejections that the COVID 19 virus has imposed on the world.
About a week ago, the executive level of the festival exuded a great deal of optimism about the wonder of countless fans about the existence of the production. One damn week later, when the virus was able to infect hundreds of thousands of new people – the management decided to immediately stop selling tickets for this year’s main event.
Festival directors even openly addressed their concerns. “As you all know, there is a huge uncertainty running around now,” – the official production site states. “Given the reality we have been in, the most cautious step would be to stop ticket sales for the event.”
